During July 19-21, Jakarta Cooperative Small Medium Enterprises and Trade (KUKMP) Department facilitates 200 Integrated Entrepreneurship Development (PKT) program participants to join UKM Expo at Kartika Expo Center, Balai Kartini, Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta.

"This year, UKM Expo is held with theme 'Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurs (SMEs) Towards Digitalization and Globalization'. It is opened for public and free of charge," stated Jakarta KUKMP Department Head, Adi Ariantara, Wednesday (7/17).
There are also selected PKT participants from other departments (SKPD)s, such as from Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Department, Industry and Energy Department, Social Department, Tourism and Culture Department (Disparbud), and Manpower and Transmigration (Nakertrans) Department.

He assessed, this event is a good way to encourage digital-based economy development and expand their market access. He expects this event can improve their business capacity by improving digital technology usage and facilitate them to sell products into international market.
"Through this event, we give them chance to go digital and compete in the digital economy era," he mentioned.
UKM Expo is not only displaying UKM products but it is also enlivened with PKT Fashion Show Competition, Speech Contest for High School Students, Coloring Contest, PKT Logo Designing Contest, Cheap Market, Exhibition, and music performances from Judika, Balena, and Benny Tophot.
